Working Student (m/f/d) in 5G/6G Software Development and Evaluation (up to 20 hrs/week)
Your Profile
- Currently enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences in Berlin, ideally pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Programming experience in C (preferred), C++, Python, or Golang, along with a strong interest in wireless communications. Passionate about open-source projects and committed to writing high-performance, maintainable software. Quick learner with the ability to grasp APIs and frameworks.
- Familiarity with network technologies and knowledge of mobile communication technologies, particularly L1 and L2 in 5G systems.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with software-defined radios.
- Background in developing AI/ML algorithms.
Your Tasks
- Assist in the development, implementation, and deployment of features for our 5G and 6G software solutions.
- Participate in creating algorithms for the control and optimization of 5G and 6G communication systems.
- Help implement 3GPP standards on both commercial and experimental hardware platforms.
- Support the translation of scientific algorithms into professional code.
- Documentation of software and technical results.
